Trend Report: Fur Vests!

Spurred by some Twitter convos yesterday afternoon, we’ve decided to take the talk a bit further about this season’s faux fur vests. Is it a trend you’d wear?
When we asked the question on Twitter, some people were really enthusiastic, some were neutral, some hated it. Varied responses are typical when it comes to an “of the moment” trend like this one. Remember a few years back, when short sleeve leather jackets were in? Remember when it didn’t really last? In that case, responses were similar: some loved, some hated. And then a season later, no one remembered.
It’s difficult to judge the forecast and lasting impact of an outerwear trend that we haven’t seen much in previous seasons. For the time being, however, we can give you some visuals of how to rock it properly:

Whether or not fur vests will be around for more than this season isn’t certain, and won’t be for a while. For now, though, they can be a tasteful addition to one or two outfits in your wardrobe, for day or night, if you decide you like it. If you just aren’t a fur person, however, stay tuned for next week….
Because we’re talking about leather jackets. Oh yeah.
