Fall for Leather

Leather has always been in style during the colder months, but this Fall, expect to see leather everywhere. Now, the editors at Vogue are not expecting you to squeeze into any leather suits this September. The average woman can incorporate leather into her wardrobe by purchasing leather accessories. Leather leggings, jackets, belts, and shoes are perfect accessories to add to your fall wardrobe. When purchasing a leather piece, stick to neutral colors. Grays and blacks are great for a more urban appeal, and browns and tans can provide the perfect amount of cowgirl to any outfit. Bright colors are not usually compatible with leather so stay away from neon colors. If you don’t like real leather, don’t be afraid to explore faux leather or pleather options. When shopping, just look for faux leather materials that have little sheen to them. Shinier pleather pieces will come across as fake and tacky. But don’t be afraid to experiment; leather pieces are perfect for making any outfit edgier.
