Shoegasm officially opened its doors for business in 1999, with our first store located at 20 W. 23rd Street. As a uniquely chic space for fashionable shoes at affordable prices, it was only a matter of time before our concept caught fire. In 2004 we opened our Meatpacking District location, followed by our third opening in Tribeca in 2006.
Since we don’t want to look like just any other shoe store, we made sure that all of our boutiques have a unique aesthetic with exposed brick walls, antique furniture, and Persian rugs in all of our locations. We strive to create an experience for our customers that begins the very minute they walk through our doors and continues to the ultimate and inevitable “oh my” moment. Our customers are our greatest inspiration and we work hard to provide them with the styles they want, the options they deserve, and the prices that won’t leave them with that ever-uncomfortable buyers’ remorse feeling.
